I have to say that the current financial meltdown or crisis has not only hit our country hard (England) it has also affected my family hard. My wife and I own a small business that sells electrical products. Sales have dipped in quite a dramatic and devastating way over the last two to three years as the consumers are tending to keep their cash firmly in their pockets. For this reason it came as quite a shock when our thirty year old daughter announced that she was planning to get married in the summer to her long term boyfriend.
