How To Host A Wine Tasting Party At Home

Setting a price range, from $15.00 to $20.00, for each wine will keep the wines within a similar quality and age range for fair comparisons. You can also have other guidelines like a certain varietal or wine region for the wines being tasted. After your collect the wine from guests, place each bottle into a wine bag. This will keep the type of wine guests are tasting a mystery. This will allow for blind tastings. Disguising the wine is important so that guests do not have assumptions about each wine.
Wine bags can also allow you to help aid in creating a themed party. They come in various styles and phrases. Wine cocktail napkins are an inexpensive way to liven up the party.
